Study Start before Winter Semester 2024/25

The curriculum serves as an overview of the various modules that you have to take in the course of the study programme. The sequence of the modules is a recommendation and the semester offer may deviate from it.
The Master's programme "Global Food, Nutrition and Health" (M.Sc.) comprises modules with a total of 120 ECTS credits. It offers a broad range of modules, which are structured into the following module areas and courses:
First Semester
Module Area A: Approaches + Targets + Controversies - 20 ECTS
- Medicine and Nutrition (5 ECTS)
- Food and Society (5 ECTS)
- Global Health Policy (5 ECTS)
- Climate Change and its Consequences (5 ECTS)
Modul Area B: Food, Nutrition and Health in a Global Context - 10 ECTS
- International Nutrition Politics (5 ECTS)
- Introduction to Law and Food Law (5 ECTS)
Second Semester
Module Area A: Approaches + Targets + Controversies - 15 ECTS
- Components and Production of Plant and Animal Foods (5 ECTS)
- Research Strategies and Methods (5 ECTS)
- Global Political Economy of Food (5 ECTS)
Modul Area B: Food, Nutrition and Health in a Global Context - 10 ECTS
- Food Security and Development (5 ECTS)
- Food Health and Climate Communication (5 ECTS)
