Study Abroad
The master’s programme “Global Food, Nutrition and Health” allows its students to easily integrate a study-abroad period into their master’s degree, especially during their third or fourth semester, thanks to the programme’s flexible elective area.
The “Global Food, Nutrition and Health” programme has several exchange (Erasmus) partnerships with closely related master’s programmes and institutes at other European universities:
- Koc University in Istanbul, Turkey; MSc Global Health
- Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Uppsala, Sweden; MSc Sustainable Food Systems
- University of Trento, Italy; Center Agriculture Food Environment (C3A)
- University of Bordeaux, France; M2 Santé Globale dans les Suds (in French)
- Catholic University of Lille, France; MA Climate and Sustainability Politics (forthcoming)
In addition to these programme-level partnerships, students can also apply for other faculty-wide or university-wide exchange opportunities. In previous years, “Global Food, Nutrition and Health” master’s students have also spent semesters abroad in non-European countries such as Colombia and Costa Rica.
