Study Abroad
The master’s programme “Global Food, Nutrition and Health” allows its students to easily integrate a study-abroad period into their master’s degree, especially during their third or fourth semester, thanks to the programme’s flexible elective area.
The “Global Food, Nutrition and Health” programme has several special exchange partnerships (Erasmus agreements) with closely related master’s programmes at universities abroad:
- Catholic University of Lille, France; MA Food Politics and Sustainable Development
- Koc University in Istanbul, Turkey; MSc Global Health
- Oslo Metropolitan University (OsloMet), Norway; MSc Public Health Nutrition
- Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Uppsala, Sweden; MSc Sustainable Food Systems
- University of Bordeaux, France; M2 Santé Globale dans les Suds (in French)
University of Trento, Italy; Center Agriculture Food Environment (C3A)
In addition to these programme-level partnerships, students can also apply for other faculty-wide or university-wide exchange opportunities. In previous years, “Global Food, Nutrition and Health” master’s students have spent semesters abroad in countries such as Costa Rica, France, and Italy.
